The Princeton Sun publishes final issue

packet-logoAfter almost five years in operation, The Princeton Sun ceases production after this week’s issue. But the stories, photos and coverage that you’ve come to love won’t be disappearing altogether.

Newspaper Media Group’s purchase of Elauwit Media and Broad Street Media earlier this year brought both The Princeton Packet and The Princeton Sun under the same company umbrella. Thus, starting next week, The Sun will merge with The Packet, beefing up the excellent local coverage of the Princeton community from both publications.

Erica Chayes Wida, who has served as The Sun’s senior associate editor for the last two years, will shift to similar duties with The Princeton Packet team. She can still be reached at ewida@newspapermediagroup.com with any story ideas and/or questions.

Starting next week, The Sun’s stories will be wrapped into the new plan to improve content in The Princeton Packet.

Readers can also view The Packet’s content online at www.centraljersey.com, on Twitter by following @PrincetonPacket or @Central_Jersey, or on Facebook.com/princetonpacket or Facebook.com/centraljerseynews.

The Princeton Sun launched in March 2012 and has been mailed weekly to select addresses in Princeton ever since.

Newspaper Media Group was founded by Richard Donnelly, CEO of Donnelly Distribution in Pennsauken. The company publishes more than 40 community newspapers throughout Philadelphia, its suburbs and New Jersey.
